Information submitted by Robert Harris indicates that Drusilla Springer is one of the children of Uriah and Lydia. However, I have no proof of that fact or of her marriage to William Myers. Here is what I know, circumstantially:

Elizabeth Springer Harris, a proven daughter of Uriah & Lydia, died in Wetzel County, WV, 9 Oct 1857. Her death, according to Robert Harris, was reported by Elizabeth's BROTHER-IN-LAW, William Myers. There is no indication of any other way for William Myers to be Elizabeth's brother-in-law other than William's first wife, Drusilla Springer, being the sister of Elizabeth. Need to send for death certificate, as the Wetzel County Genealogical Society Deaths books does not list who reported the death.

Need marriage record for Drusilla & William Myers. They appear in the 1850 Wetzel County, WV census. William, a blacksmith, is age 24, b. MD; Drusilla is 22, b. VA. No children.

Drusilla Myers died 6 Dec 1859. In the Wetzel County marriage book, William Myers, 35, a widower, s/o Peter, married 31 May 1860, Nancy Dulany, 23, b. Tyler County, WV, d/o John & Nancy. In the 1860 Wetzel County, WV census, William, a blacksmith, 34, b. MD, and Nancy, 24, b. VA, have a 7 month old son, William O. Myers. I will check the census micro-film for when this census was taken, but this child is possibly the son of Drusilla. Did she die in childbirth? I will also send for her death record in case more details are included that can answer these questions. What happened to this child? Need to check 1870 & 1880 Wetzel census for him.
