The State, (Columbia, SC) - December 31, 1995 -- 3-WAR VETERAN -- Services for JOSEPH A. GUERRA, 79, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery. Elmore-Hill-McCreight Funeral Home is in charge. Mr. Guerra died Friday, Dec. 29, 1995. Born in Monessen, Pa., he was a son of the late James and Anna Saccone Guerra. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. He retired as a lieutenant colonel. Surviving are his wife, Sabine S. Guerra; brothers, Sam and Lawrence Guerra, both of Monessen; and a sister, Anne Guerra of Monessen.

Mrs. Guerra died April 19, 2003, at Tuomey Regional Medical Center. She was the widow of Lt. Col. Joseph A. Guerra, U.S. Air Force (Ret.).
