The State, (Columbia, SC) - December 31, 1995 -- 3-WAR VETERAN -- Services for JOSEPH A. GUERRA, 79, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery. Elmore-Hill-McCreight Funeral Home is in charge. Mr. Guerra died Friday, Dec. 29, 1995. Born in Monessen, Pa., he was a son of the late James and Anna Saccone Guerra. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. He retired as a lieutenant colonel. Surviving are his wife, Sabine S. Guerra; brothers, Sam and Lawrence Guerra, both of Monessen; and a sister, Anne Guerra of Monessen.
The State, (Columbia, SC) - April 20, 2003 -- SABINE GUERRA -- SUMTER - Services for Sabine Guerra, 87, will be private. Elmore-Hill-McCreight Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Guerra died April 19, 2003, at Tuomey Regional Medical Center. She was the widow of Lt. Col. Joseph A. Guerra, U.S. Air Force (Ret.).
