OBITUARY: BARTNIK, Arlene K., 84, of Richmond, Va., died on Saturday, March 29, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Bartnik; a daughter, Susan B. Egan; two sons, Robert A. and Paul T. Bartnik; and a grandson, Thomas Egan Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Judith Lynn Bartnik; her son, John C. Bartnik and his wife, Billie; her sister, Laverne Coppock; five grandchildren, Jesse, David, Daniel, Amanda and Grafton Bartnik; and one great-grandson, Xander M. Bartnik. No formal visitation is planned. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 4400 Beulah Rd. Interment will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday in Greenwood Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the National Parkinson Foundation, 200 SE 1st St., Suite 800, Miami, Fla. 33134.
