Mary Kriley's sister, Marcella Kriley, graduated in the Class of 1948-M.

Born on June 24, 1926, Mary was the daughter of Joseph Kriley, a farmer, and Sara "Sadie" Baldauf, of Butler, Pennsylvania.

At the time of the 1930 Federal Census, Joseph and Sadie Kriley had the following children: Elmer, 20, Hilda, 18, Dorothy, 16, Regis, 14, Marcella, 12, Genevieve, 10, Angelica, 8, Ruth, 6, Mary 4, and Wilmer, 2. Another daughter, Lois, was born in 1932.

While a student nurse at St. Francis Hospital, Mary participated in the U. S., World War II Cadet Nursing Corps.

Mary married Raymond Matson and they made their home in Butler County.
