Marcella married Kenneth Parson on June 13, 1936. Their children were Kenneth James and Polly. Kenneth died of cancer in 1974.

A 1956 news article indicates that Marcella worked at that time as an Industrial Nurse at the Reeves Steel & Manufacturing Company in Dover.

Marcella's daughter, Polly, became a Navy Nurse.

At the time of Marcella's death on March 15, 1999, she was a resident of Merritt Island, Brevard County, Florida.
