CYNTHIA A. DEL BIANCO, 47, of Fawn Township, passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2010, at her home. She was born, March 19, 1963, in Pittsburgh, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mildred Regina Petera Kovac.
Cynthia started her career as a RN at the former St. Francis Hospital in Pittsburgh and then became the youngest head dialysis nurse (in its history) at the largest dialysis clinic in Pittsburgh, and while employed at the clinic she operated the unit with the best patient quality care ever established.
She was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Parish, in Natrona, and was a volunteer at the Plum Senior Citizens Center. Cynthia enjoyed skiing, traveling, trips to Disney, tennis and softball.
She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Dr. Paul R. Del Bianco; brothers, Matthew (Susan) Kovac, of Butler, and Mark (Judy) Kovac, of Venetia; also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles and aunt; and by her dog, Toby.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the CICHOLSKI-ZIDEK FUNERAL HOME, Natrona Heights, where a blessing service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday.
Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church with the Rev. William Siple as celebrant.
Burial will be in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer Township.
