According to the 1900 Federal Census of Loretto Borough, Cambria County, Pennsylvania, Rose Kaylor was born in September 1881. Her father, Zack, a farmer, was a widower at that time, and resided with Rose and his other daughters, Flora, Dora, Anna and son, John. The wife of Zachary Ignatius Kaylor was Ellen Parrish, who died October 10, 1898.
Rose Kaylor, 37, was a District Nurse at the Pittsburgh Health Department at the time of the 1920 Federal Census. She was a "Roomer" in the home of William Sweetwood on Atwood Street. In 1930, she was still listed as age 37, and she lived in an apartment on Ellsworth Avenue.
Her death certificate indicates that Rose Clotilda Kaylor was born September 27, 1881, and she died at St. Francis Hospital on March 4, 1932. She is buried at St. Michael Cemetery, Loretto, Allegheny Township, Cambria County, Pennsylvania.
