Alice Larue Jellison, born on September 2, 1914, was the daughter of Rudolph Ignatius Jellison (1883-1975), born in Illinois, and Nancy Jane Clawson (1887-1956).

At the time of the 1930 Federal Census, the Jellison family lived on Main Street, Coraopolis. Their children were William, 21, Sidney, 19, Mary F., 18, Pauline, 17, Alice, 15, Alfred, 14, Rudolph, 9, Norman, 7, Nancy, 5, Jean, almost 4, David, almost 3.

From a list of Pennsylvania Registered Nurses, 1940-1941, published by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nurse Examiners: "Alice Larue Jellison, 1101 Main St., Coraopolis."

Alice married Fred E. Ruppel. He was born in 1906 and his death occurred in March 1986.

Alice L. Ruppel died on May 28, 2000; last residence, New Brighton, Beaver County, Pennsylvania. She and her husband are buried at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester, Beaver County.
