Rosa E. Huber, born on June 29, 1890, was the daughter of Adam Huber, born in Germany, and Rosa Gillner, born in Pennsylvania.
The father, Adam Huber, born in 1838, died in 1894.
At the time of the 1900 Federal Census of Hampton Township, Allegheny County, Rose Huber was a widow. Her children were George A., 22, Katie, 18, Mary, 15, John B., 13, William, 11, Rosa A., 9, Agnes, 7.
Mr. and Mrs. Huber had another daughter, Anna Maria, born in 1880. She married Philip F. Milbert, had a number of children, and then died in 1918.
In the 1910 census, Mrs. Rosa Huber, a farmer, still in Hampton Township, Allegheny County, with children, John B., William J., Rose A., and Agnes P. - Rosa's brother, Joseph Gillner, lived with them.
On May 11, 1912, George A. Huber, 34, married, died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the forehead.
In 1920, Rosie Huber, 29, was a nurse in private practice. She lived on Baum Boulevrd with a number of other nurses, including her sister, Agnes Huber, also a graduate of the Class of 1918.
Before 1930, Rose married Richard E. Weaver, an electrical engineer for Westinghouse. In 1930, they lived in Shaler Township, Allegheny County. They eventually moved to Pompano Beach, Florida.
The mother, Rose Huber, died in 1937.
Rose E. Huber Weaver died in Broward County, Florida on May 12, 1982. Her husband died in 1987.
