Agnes Mary Huber, born on November 2, 1892, was the daughter of Adam Huber, born in Germany, and Rosa Gillner, born in Pennsylvania.

The father, Adam Huber, born in 1838, died in 1894.

At the time of the 1900 Federal Census of Hampton Township, Allegheny County, Rose Huber was a widow. Her children were George A., 22, Katie, 18, Mary, 15, John B., 13, William, 11, Rosa A., 9, Agnes, 7.

In 1910, Rosa Huber, a farmer, resided in Hampton Township, Allegheny County, with John B., William J., Rose A., and Agnes P. - Rosa's brother, Joseph Gillner, lived with them.

On May 11, 1912, George A. Huber, 34, married, died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the forehead.

In 1920, Agnes Huber, 27, was a nurse in private practice. She lived on Baum Boulevrd with a number of other nurses, including her sister, Rosie Huber, also a graduate of the Class of 1918.

City Nurse, Agnes M. Huber, 36, lived on Chateau Street in 1930.

The mother, Rose Huber, died in 1937.

From a list of Pennsylvania Registered Nurses, 1940-1941, published by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nurse Examiners: "Agnes Mary Huber, Apt. 4, 4827 Liberty Ave., Pittsburgh."

Public Health Nurse, Agnes M. Huber, is named in an article in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, dated April 22, 1947: "The Bureau of Infectious Diseases boasts of four of the oldest public health nurses, Mrs. Priscilla F. Miller, who began in 1909, Miss Christina Kalloway, Miss Jessie Fowler, and Miss Agnes M. Huber."

Agnes Mary Huber died on September 1, 1973.
