Regina Elizabeth Hohman was born in Pittsburgh on July 24, 1920 to John H. Hohman and Elizabeth Dimerling, both born in Fulda, Ohio.
At the time of the 1930 Federal Census of North Braddock, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, John Hohman, a carpenter, and his wife, Elizabeth, had the following children: Violet, 24, James, 22, Gertrude, 20, Alice, 18, Adaline, 16, Regis, 14, Elmer, 12, Raymond, 9, Regina, 9, Robert, 7, and Elizabeth, 3.
In 1940, Regina was a student nurse and lived at the St. Francis Hospital Nurses' Residence.
On September 1, 1944, Regina E. Hohman, nurse, and Daniel L. Bowers, tool designer, obtained a marriage license. Daniel was born in Detroit, Michigan and resided there. Her father was deceased at the time of her marriage.
Regina Hohman Bowers died on December 16, 1997.
