The 1920 Federal Census of the St. Francis Hospital lists "Katherine Hailmyer," 35, as a Pupil Nurse. She was born in Germany and immigrated in 1903.
A news article in the Pittsburgh Press, dated May 21, 1922, published the names of the graduates of the St. Francis Hospital Class of 1922. This graduate's name as "Catharine Marie Heilmair."
On January 12, 1923, Katie Heilmair, aka Katherine Marie Heilmair, Graduate Nurse, filed a Petition for Naturalization. She was living at Penn Avenue, Pittsburgh at the time.

Katherine Heilmair, born on October 18, 1884, died in July 1968. Her Social Security Card was issued New York, and her last residence was New Canaan, Fairfield County, Connecticut.
