Margaret Eleanor Haberkorn, born September 21, 1898, was the daughter of John A. and Catherine (Goller) Haberkorn of Johnstown, Cambria County, Pa. John A., born December 14, 1873, died August 16, 1908. Catherine (Goller), born March 4, 1871, died October 4, 1920. They are buried at St. Joseph Cemetery, Johnstown.

On September 6, 1950, Margaret E. Haberkorn married Erich Alois Eckert, born in Germany, and a widower since 1948. At the time of their marriage, Erich was 62 and Margaret was 52. Erich was a salesman and they resided in Pittsburgh. She died December 12, 1992, and is buried at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Peter's Twp., Pa. Erich, born in 1888, died July 9, 1962.
