Helen E. Gill, born in Altoona, Pennsylvania on May 6, 1896, was the daughter of Thomas Gill and Clara Detrick, both born in Pennsylvania. Her father's obituary provides the family information.

Helen married Raphael J. Halligan in Altoona on June 26, 1923. Her attendant was her niece, Izez Marie Gill, St. Francis Class of 1923. Inez was the daughter of Helen's brother, Amandus L. Gill.

Raphael J. Halligan, born in Altoona, Pennsylvania on August 12, 1896, died of a coronary occlusion at their home in Pittsburgh on December 8, 1946.

Helen's death occurred in Pittsburgh on April 25, 1970. She and her husband are buried at Calvary Cemetery, Altoona.
