VIRGINIA M. GEDROCK - On Monday, January 8, 2007, daughter of the late Vincent and Rose Gedrock; sister of Irene (Charles) Bellis and the late Raymond and Chester (Dorothy) Gedrock; aunt of Jack (Andrea) Bellis, Barbara (Joe) Kantor, David (Chris) Gedrock, Cathy (Sam) Simon and Mary Anne (Paul) Fitzgerald; great-aunt of Leslie and Stephanie Kantor, Jakson Bellis and Colin and Shana Simon. Friends received Friday 2-4 and 6-8 at the SZFRANSKI-EBERLIEN FUNERAL HOME, 101 Third St., Carnegie. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Ignatius Church, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, on Saturday at 9:30am. Virginia graduated from Scott High School, received her degree in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh. She was one of the first Emergency Room nurses at St. Clair Hospital and later was a proud nurse at St. Francis Hospital for many years until her retirement.

NOTE: Virginia was born August 14, 1927. She probably got her BSN from Pitt after she graduated from St. Francis.
