According to the Social Security Applications & Claims Index, her married name was Toppeto. Her parents are listed as John B. Garbin and Antonia Zucco. In 1954, she is found in the East Detroit, Michigan City Directory with her husband, Alphonse A Toppeto.

Delphina Toppeto died in April 1990.
