Mary Anne Galacic, born in 1902 in Vienna, Austria, was the daughter of Matthew Galicic and Pauline Steinund.

At the time of the 1920 Federal Census, Mary Galicic, 17, lived with her family in South Fayette Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. Mary was the oldest child listed, followed by Matthew, 15, Pauline, 13, Anthony, 10, Annie, 7, Louisa, 5, Agnes, 3, Helen, 1 year 9 months, and Sylvia, 1 month.

On April 4, 1932, in Manhattan, New York, Mary Anne Galicic married Sydney Jones, born in Savannah, Georgia.

From the list of Pennsylvania Registered Nurses, 1940-1941, published by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nurse Examiners: "Mary A. Galicic Jones, R. F. D. 1, Schuylerville, N. Y."

Both Mary and her husband, C. Sidney Jones, died in 1957 in New York. They are buried at Cemetery of the Visitation Blessed Virgin Mary, Schuylerville, Saratoga County, New York. Mary's father, Matthew Galicic, died in 1961, and her mother, Pauline, in 1943. They are interred at the same cemetery.
