Patricia "Pat" Gordon Obituary - “Doc and Pat Gordon” were reunited on Valentine’s Day, when Patricia L. Gordon, 81, of Reynoldsville, PA, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, surrounded by family at her home. Pat was born on October 22, 1941, daughter of the late Dr. John and Eathelda (Anderson) Fusco. On June 29, 1963, she married her high school sweetheart Dr. Dan Gordon, Dan preceded her in passing on January 31, 2018. A graduate of Reynoldsville High School Class of 1959, she then attended St. Francis School of Nursing in Pittsburgh, PA. Her nursing career covered many fields of nursing. In 1979 she was part of the staff that opened the DuBois Nursing Home. She retired from geriatric nursing in 1995. At that time, she pursued her second career as owner and operator of the Korner Kupboard Antique Shop in Reynoldsville until her retirement in 2011. Pat devoted her free time to Yoder’s Antique Mall in Punxsutawney. She enjoyed NASCAR and vacationing with her husband and family. She was always ready for casino trips, a game of bridge, and weekly family dinners. She was a loving wife, mother, Nonny, sister, friend, and nurse. Pat is survived by two children; JC (Stephanie) Gordon; Gretchen (Bob) Javens; four grandchildren; Emily (Kody) Barrett; Daniel P. Gordon; Darik O’Neil; Danielle O’Neil; three great grandchildren; Colton; Emma; Kody “Fella” Barrett Jr.; and one sister; Judith Polito. In addition to her parents and husband, Pat was preceded in passing by one infant son; Daniel J. Gordon. Family and friends will be received on Friday, February 17, 2023, from 9am to 10am at St. Mary’s Church, 607 E. Main Street, Reynoldsville, PA 15851. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will take place immediately following the visitation, beginning at 10am and officiated Father Ben Daghir. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Beulah Land Cemetery, Reynoldsville, or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
