BARBARA M. FRAUENHOLZ, 93, died on Oct. 31, 1998.

She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and The Sunshine Club. She retired here from the Pittsburgh area of Pennsylvania.

She is survived by her sister, Bertha Flory, and by her many nieces, nephews and their children. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Josephine; by her brothers, Victor, Andrew and Raymond; and by her sisters, Mary and Anna.

Ms. Frauenholz was a World War II U.S. Army Nurse Second Lieutenant, a prize-winning organic gardener, and a great lover of animals.

A Memorial Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at Holy Spirit Catholic Church on Tuesday at 7 p.m. by the Rev. Monsignor Thomas J. Caroluzza. Burial is at St. Mary's Cemetery in Sharpsburg, Pa. Memorial donations in her name may be made to Holy Spirit Building Fund.
