Dolores Rose Franz, born in Pittsburgh on October 22, 1930, was the daughter of George Franz, born in Hungary, and Theresa Fritz, born in Austria.

In the 1930 and 1940 Federal Census records, the Franz family was living on Sherman Street in Millvale, Allegheny County. Dolores' siblings were George and Regina.

The wedding photo of Dolores Franz, who became the wife of Luke Gill, was published in the newspaper in January 1952. There was no accompanying text.

Luke and Dolores Gill lived in Overland Park, Kansas. Dolores maintained her professional nursing license until 1983.

Luke Gill died in Kansas on April 20, 1973. His sister, Bernadette Gill, graduated in the St. Francis Nursing Class of 1947-S.

Dolores Franz Gill died on June 1, 2002. She and her husband are buried at Resurrection Cemetery, Coraopolis, Pennsylvania.
