Born in Pittsburgh on March 19, 1920, Teresa was the daughter of William V. Flower and Teresa M. Ward.

At the time of the 1940 Federal Census of Fairview Borough, Butler County, Pennsylvania, Teresa, 20, lived with her parents and the following siblings: Dorothy, 18, Margaret, 16, Helen, 12, and William, 3.

While a student nurse, Teresa M. Flower participated in the U. S., World War II Cadet Nursing Corps.

Teresa married Richard Twyford and they lived in Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio.

The death of Teresa M. Flower Twyford occurred in Toledo on February 19, 1990.
