While a student nurse, Alice Marie Fleming participated in the U. S., World War II Cadet Nursing Corps. According to her membership cards, she was born on June 26, 1926 and was the daughter of Thomas Fleming, a Superintendent. Her home address was Mt. Jewett, McKean County, Pennsylvania.

Alice, the daughter of Thomas and Alice Meaney Fleming, married Joseph F. Hanbach on August 23, 1949.

Alice M. Fleming Hanbach died in March 1983 and she is buried at Saint Bonaventure Cemetery, Allegany, Cattaraugus County, New York. Her husband died in 1993.

Ellen Fleming, a graduate of the St. Francis Class of 1946-A, was the sister of Alice Marie Fleming.
