Pittsburgh Press, Feb 18, 1957 -- "Dolores Fien was given in marriage by her brother-in-law, Michael Zombek, when she became the bride of Donald Tilves Feb. 9 in Holy Cross Church. A reception followed in the parish hall. - The bride, a graduate of St. Francis School of Nursing, is the daughter of Mrs. Helen Fien of Glassport. Agnes Pasinski was maid of honor and Rose Marie Zalac and Mary Lou Hagedorn were bridesmaids. - Mrs. Mary Tilves of Munhall is the bridegroom's mother. His brother, Richard, was best man and Michael Winters and Tony Martiney ushered."
SISTER'S OBITUARY: Sister Mary Liliose Fien, 95, a member of the Felician Sisters of Moon Township for 77 years, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012. Sister was a native of Glassport and was the daughter of the late Wojciech and Helen (Karnas) Fien. She is survived by five sisters, Catherine Redlinger, Bea Nevitt, Marie Nevitt, Florence Welesko and Dolores Tilves. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Casimir and John; and four sisters, Laura, Helen, Anna and Sister Mary Edith, CSSF. Friends received from 2 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012, at the Felician Sisters Convent, 1500 Wooderest Ave., Coraopolis (Moon Township). Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012, in the Convent Chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Felician Sisters Retirement Fund or a charity of the donor's choice.
