Marian Dorothy, Margaret A. (Class of 1925), and Ruth V. Fagans (Class of 1932) were sisters, the daughters of David W. and Nannie (Bennett) Fagans of Youngwood, Hempfield Township, Westmoreland County, Pa.
According to her birth record, Marian Dorothy Fagans was born on May 17, 1907 in Youngwood, Wayne County, Pennsylvania, to David Wesley Fagans and Mary Nannie Fagans.

The mother was called "Mamie" in the 1920 census, at which time she lived on East Washington Avenue in Connellsville, Fayette County. Pennsylvania. Her children were Margaret, 15, Marian, 12, Ruth, 9, and Mary, 2. "Mamie" was employed as a book agent.
The father, David W. Fagans, died in 1929.
At the time of the 1930 census, Marian, a Trained Nurse, was a roomer in Pittsburgh. Sister, Ruth, was a student nurse at St. Francis.
In 1940, Marian Fagans, 32, a nurse, born in Pennsylvania, was "Student Nursing, Hospital." The hospital was Lincoln Hospital, in Wayne County, Michigan. Perhaps she was teaching nursing? The record indicates she had lived in Albany, New York in 1935.
Marian married Frank Dubke. Her second husband was Unknown Hanyo. She died on July 22, 1976. She is buried at Mount Lebanon United Methodist Church Cemetery, Tarrs, Westmoreland County.
