Rita (Ejchost) Porell, 80, of Camp Hill, PA, formerly of Baldwin Boro, PA, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2003, at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill, PA, after a long illness.

She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Frank; daughter, Carol Porell Cocheres and husband, Louis Cocheres of Camp Hill, PA; son, Frank W. Porell and wife, Marjorie McGuirk Porell of Needham, MA and son, Paul S. Porell and wife, Sheila Porell of Rochester, NY; 4 grandchildren, Graham Porell, Lena Porell, Sasha Rieders and Alex Porell. Rita is also survived by her sisters, Clara Uziel and Nellie Frydrych, both of Glassport, PA.

A graduate of Glassport High School and St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing, Pittsburgh, PA, she was a nurse and homemaker. A long time member of Nativity Church in South Park, she was active in the South Park Senior Citizens and Christian Mothers, Nativity Parish. Since moving to Camp Hill in 2001, she was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd, Camp Hill.

Visitation with the family will be from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Sunday, March 16, 2003, at Griffith Mortuary, 5636 Brownsville Road, South Park, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 17, 2003, in Nativity Church, 5637 Brownsville Road, South Park, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
