NEWPORT NEWS - Marie M. Picard, a native of Pittsburgh, Pa., died Sunday, Dec. 7, 1997.

Survivors include three daughters and their husbands, Sharon and Bill Keplesky of Yorktown, Donna and Bob Layton of Austin, Texas, and Kathie and Jim West of Marietta, Ga.; one son and his wife, Jerry and Cindy Picard of Claymont, Del.; brother, Bernard Eggert of Pittsburgh, Pa.; and seven grandchildren, Colleen and Jennifer Layton, Matthew, Brent and Steven West and Bryan and Lauren Keplesky. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert E. Picard.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, Dec. 10, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church from 6 to 7:15 p.m.; a funeral Mass will be held at 7:30 p.m. by the Rev. Timothy Keeney. Graveside services and interment will be in Westport, Conn.
