OBITUARY: Elinor Marie Bauer, 82, of 233 Prospect Dr., La Jolla, Calif., formerly of Meadville, died Saturday, Nov. 25, 1989, at Scripps Memorial Hospital, La Jolla, Calif. She was born Dec. 18, 1906, in Sharpsburg, to Patrick Dennis and Elizabeth (Farmarie) Duffy. She had lived in Meadville for 47 years, lived in Miami, Fla. from 1971 to 1981 at which time she moved to California. She was a member of All Hallows Roman Catholic Church of La Jolla, Calif; and was a registered nurse and worked with her husband in his medical practice for 47 years in Meadville. Surviving are two sons, Dr. H. Paul Bauer, Jr. of La Jolla, Calif. and John C. Bauer of Boca Raton, Fla; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. H. Paul Bauer on Jan. 3, 1975; one brother, Francis Duffy; and two sisters, Florence and Elizabeth Duff.

BAUER - Friends of Elinor Marie Bauer, 82, of 233 Prospect Dr., La Jolla, Calif., who died Saturday, Nov. 25, 1989, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, at the Bauer Funeral Home in Kittanning. A blessing service will be held at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. Kenneth Zaccagnini officiating. Burial will follow in Kittanning Cemetery. Arrangements by Bauer.
