Dobiszewski

Based on the obituary of Joseph Drobiszewski, Pethrusa/Pearl in the census records (above) is Patricia. This family name was sometimes spelled as DROBISH.

Patricia M. Drobiszewski did not marry and resided in Donora, Washington County.

Regina was also a registered nurse and she married Dr. John Dougert. She is mentioned in articles and stories pertaining to the deadly smog - a blanket of fog and industrial fumes - that engulfed Donora, Pa. in October 1948. During this health emergency, she was one of the nurses who accompanied about 50 residents to Wrightsville Beach, N.C. to escape the smog.

Obituary submitted by Bill Noel.
