Most of the family spelled the surname as DRECHSLER.

Anne Drexler, born February 3, 1921, was the daughter of Leon Dreschler (1883-1968), and Hermina Hummer (1889-1976), both born in Poland. They lived in Elrama, Washington County, Pennsylvania, and Leon worked as a boilermaker at Jones & Laughlin Steel Company.

At the time of the 1930 Federal Census, the Dreschler family lived in Union Township, Washington County. Their children were Josephine, 20, George, 16, Elizabeth, 14, Margaret, 13, Mary, 11, and Anna, 9.

In the 1940 census, Anna Drexler, 19, was a student nurse and lived at the Nurses' Home at St. Francis Hospital. The record indicates that she was born in Pennsylvania and had been a resident of Elrama, Washington County, Pennsylvania in 1935.

When her father died in 1968, his obituary states that his daughter, Anna Nath, lived in Floreffe, Pennsylvania, which is a community in Allegheny County, very near Elrama, Washington County. Anotehr article indicates that Anna married Francis Nath.

HUSBAND'S OBITUARY: Francis J. "Dusty" Nath, 96, of Jefferson Hills, was called home Friday, April 27, 2012, one day after the 69th wedding anniversary with his beloved wife, Anne. Born Jan. 15, 1916, in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late John and Margaret Nath. A retired foreman at Drechsler Cabinet Company in Elrama and a former elementary school teacher in Gastonville, Dusty was a parishioner, lector, and Eucharistic Minister for many years at St. Isaac Jogues Church, in Elrama. He also was a retired member of the Knights of Columbus and a Navy veteran of World War II, attaining the rank of chief petty officer. Francis is survived by his wife of 69 years, Anne F. (Drechsler) Nath; his daughters, Pat (Bill) Bennett, of Bethel Park, Kathy Nath, of Elizabeth, and Mary Jo Nath, of Bordentown, N.J.; his sons, David (the late Lois) Nath, of South Park, Francis J. "Frank" (Mary) Nath Jr., of Tampa, Fla., Leon (Terri) Nath, of New Eagle, Bill (Joanie) Nath, of Bridgeville, and Rob (Noreen) Nath, of North Versailles; his sister, Irma Nath of North Huntingdon; his 17 grandchildren; his 20 great-grandchildren; his two great-great-grandchildren; and also numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the PAUL E. BEKAVAC FUNERAL HOME, 221 N. 2nd. Ave., Elizabeth, PA 15037. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Isaac Jogues Church, Elrama, with the Rev. Albert Semler officiating. Born Feb. 4, 1921, in Elrama, she was a daughter of the late Leon and Hermina (Hummer) Drechsler and wife of the late Francis J. "Dusty" Nath. She is survived by her children, David (the late Lois) Nath, of Library, Francis J. "Frank" (Mary) Nath, of Tampa, Fla., Pat (Bill) Bennett, of Bethel Park, Leon (Terri) Nath, of New Eagle, Bill (Joanie) Nath, of Bridgeville, Kathy Nath, of Elizabeth, Mary Jo Nath, of Bordentown, N.J., and Rob (Noreen) Nath, of North Versailles; 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
