Mary Jane Downs was born on July 14, 1918 in Pittsburgh, the daughter of B. Francis Hull and Marguerite McGinley.

The tragic death of Mary Jane (also Jayne) Downs Hull occurred on December 5, 1956. She is buried at Calvary Cemetery, Altoona. Of her five children, the last was born in July of 1956.

Dr. Logan Ben Hull remarried. Born on October 25, 1913, he died in July 1976, leaving nine children. He is also buried at Calvary Cemetery, Altoona.
