Based on the obituary of Stella Donalli Verish, it appears that she was the mother of Amelia. Andrew Verish became her step-father when she was almost two years old.

HUSBAND'S OBITUARY: Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, August 30, 1993 -- ANTHONY KOCHOSKY JR., WATER COMPANY RETIREE - Anthony W. Kochosky Jr., a longtime employee of the South Pittsburgh Water Co., died of congestive heart failure Friday at his Collier home. He was 77. - Mr. Kochosky worked for the water company in Mount Oliver for 25 years until his retirement in 1978. - He played football, basketball and soccer at South Fayette High School and later attended Duquesne University. Kochosky was a Little League baseball manager in Scott. - He was a member of St. Anthony Church in South Fayette and of the Slovian National Beneficial Society in Sygan, South Fayette. - He is survived by his wife, Amelia Donelli; two sons, Neil Kochosky of Bridgeville and David Kochosky of Stowe, Ohio; three sisters, Belle Leglightner of South Fayette, Nellie Vechazone of Denver and Stella Troha of Carnegie; one brother, Peter Kochosky of Bridgeville; and five grandchildren. - Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the S.B. Fryer Funeral Home, 729 Washington Ave., Bridgeville. A Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. tomorrow at St. Anthony Church in South Fayette.
