Rita Ann D'Itri's parents were Vincent and Maria (Steff) D'Itri. Her siblings: Vincent, Jr., who died in 1999, Antoinette and Mary.

Rita graduated in 1958 from Lincoln High School, Midland, Pa. She married John A. Yurich, an Army Veteran, who died May 25, 2004. Children: John (and/or David) and Andrea.
