According to her Social Security record, Eva Marie Diamond was born on January 5, 1918 to William J. Diamond and Margaret M. Dorney.

At the time of the 1930 Federal Census, the family lived on Amity Street, Homestead, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. Eva M., 12, had a sister, Margaret R., age 9.

In Wellsburg, Brooke County, West Virginia, on August 10, 1939, Eva M. Diamond, 21, married Benjamin Coles, 24. She was born in Homestead, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania and he was born in East Pittsburgh. They were both residing in East Pittsburgh.

Eva died on May 11, 1991.
