GAYDOS - Anna, 94, Johnstown, died April 4, 2007, at home. Born May 10, 1912, in Johnstown, daughter of Simon and Mary (Lunter) Demo. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Andrew Gaydos; sister, Mary Blaschak; and brother, Andrew Demo. Survived by sons, Thomas A., married to the former Christine Carr, Irwin, and Daniel Gaydos, Johnstown; grandsons, Andrew and Timothy Gaydos; great-granddaughters, Micah, Rebecca and Rosemary Gaydos. A sister of Sam Demo, Ohio. A registered nurse by profession. A graduate of St. Francis School of Nursing in Pittsburgh in 1933; received her bachelor's degree in nursing in 1941 at the University of Pittsburgh. Was an instructor at Memorial Hospital of Nursing in Johnstown and worked for a number of years in Spangler Hospital. A member of St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church. Friends received from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Broad Street, where a brief service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, followed by funeral liturgy at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church, the Rev. Monsignor Raymond Balta. Committal, Grandview Cemetery.
