Audrey graduated from Brownsville High School, Fayette County, Pa.
While a student nurse at St. Francis Hospital, Audrey Cosner participated in the U. S., World War II Cadet Nursing Corps. On her membership card, she indicated that she was born on June 6, 1926, and her home address was Newell, Fayette County, Pennsylvania.
David Cosner, Jr. and his wife, Bertha B., both born in Pennsylvania, are found in the 1930 and 1940 Federal Census records of Newell, Fayette County. In 1930, they had two daughters, Audrey B., 3 years 9 months, and Dorothy J., 9 months. Mr. Cosner was employed on the steam railroad.
Audrey married Leno Spiller and they lived in New Jersey. Her Social Security record shows that her name changed to Spiller in July 1975.
Audrey died on May 15, 2000. Her last residence was South Bound Brook, Somerset County, New Jersey. Her husband died in 2003.
Bertha Cosner, Audrey's mother, died in 2004, at which time her daugher, Dorothy, was still alive.
