He was the only child of Luke A. Connor (d 1939), a retired police lieutenant, and Isabelle Boyle (d 1936).
In the obituary, the children are named Catherine, Patricia, and Warren, Jr.
"Mrs. Teresa Conner," widow of Matthew W. Conner, filed an application for Veteran's Compensation in 1934. She stated her children were Claudia, Patricia and Warren Conner. At that time, Teresa lived at Glasgow Street, Pittsburgh.
In the 1940 census, "Theresa M. Connors," 42, Widow, lived in Pittsburgh with her children, Claudia C., 15, Patricia I., 14, Warren L., 11. (Claudia Catherine, Patricia Isabelle, and Warren Luke - or the reverse.)

(Bonnie), and the late Jeffrey M.; daughter of the late Matthew and Theresa Connor; grandmother of Michael, Andrea, Keith, Christopher and Robert. Patricia was a very special person with a huge heart who loved life and family. She always put others first. She will be in our hearts forever. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of a Blessing Service at Noon. Interment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Park.
DAUGHTER: Claudia Catherine Connor served in the U. S. Army during World War II, between March 1942 and March 1943. Born 23 Aug 1923 in Pittsburgh, she died 13 Jan 1990, according to her Social Security record. Her parents are missstated as Luke W. Connors and Teresa P. Conley. Beginning in July 1850, her surname was Johnson. Her name was Claudia Bowman after May 1983. She is buried at Holy Cross Cemetery, Spokane County, Washington.
SON'S OBITUARY: LUCAS W. "BULLDOG" CONNOR, 73, died Sunday [Jan 6, 2001] of complications of diabetes at Kaiser Permanente Riverside Medical Center. Born in Pittsburgh, Mr. Connor lived in Riverside 30 years. He served in the U. S. Army for 23 years before he retired in 1972 as a sergeant first class. - He received a Combat Infantryman's Badge, Bronze Star Medal and Army Commendation Medal. - He was a counselor for the California Department of Corrections before he retired in 1988. - Mr. Connor received an associate's degree in criminology from Chaffey Community College in 1976. - He was a parishioner of Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Riverside. - Mr. Connor is survived by his wife, Johanna; two daughters, Gerlinda Casner of Green Valley Lake and Patricia Vasquez of Riverside; five sons, Michael, Christopher, John, Matthew and Fredricko, all of Riverside; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Patricia Krass of Pennsylvania. - The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at Queen of Angels Catholic Church. Friends may call from 4 until 9 p.m. Thursday at Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary in Riverside. The rosary will be recited at 1 p.m. Burial will be at noon Friday at Riverside National Cemetery. (He served in Korea and Vietnam)
