OBITUARY: Patricia Syrvalin (nee Condor), born April 6, 1943, passed peacefully on November 26, 2019, at the age of 76 following a long illness, surrounded by her loving family at Laurel Lakes in Hudson, Ohio. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Dr. Alejo Sryvalin; sons David (Dianne), Paul (Kristine) and Michael and daughter Elizabeth MacMurray (Robert); grandchildren Matthew, Alec, Liam, Carter and Sawyer Sryvalin; and brother Chuck Condor. Patricia was born in Ralph, Pennsylvania on April 6, 1943, to Stephen and Anna Condor and was the youngest of seven children. She graduated from St. Francis School of Nursing in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1964 and obtained her B.S.N. from Kent State University in 1986. A resident of North Royalton, Ohio for most of her life, Patricia was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, a dedicated nursing professional and successful businesswoman, as well as an active runner and tennis player. Despite living most of her life in northeast Ohio, Patricia remained proud of her roots in the coal mining towns of southwestern Pennsylvania and used every opportunity to instill the values of hard work and education to her own family. After raising her four children, Patricia became a successful entrepreneur, building upon her early nursing career by founding and operating Condor Medical Service. In retirement, Patricia was a resident of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, where she enjoyed entertaining her grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 6, 2019, at St. Mary Catholic Church of Hudson (340 North Main Street, Hudson, Ohio, 44236) at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association (www.alz.org).
