HUSBAND'S OBITUARY: Frank E. Jablonski, 84, a former physicist with several government agencies, died Oct. 10 at Suburban Hospital in Bethesda after a stroke. - Mr. Jablonski, who retired in 1973 as a technical adviser in the office of the chief of naval operations, lived in Bethesda for about four decades. - He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and was a 1936 physics graduate of Fordham University. He received a master's degree in physics from New York University and a master's degree in communications engineering from Harvard University. - During World War II, Mr. Jablonski served in the Navy in the Pacific theater. He retired as a lieutenant from the Navy reserve in the early 1950s. - He worked for the Naval Ordnance Laboratory, the Navy's special projects office, the National Security Agency and National Aeronautics and Space Administration. - He was a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and a member of the American Physical Society, Bethesda-Chevy Chase Camera Club, North Bethesda Camera Club and the Wilderness Society. - Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Dorothy E. Jablonski of Bethesda; three sons, Dan, of Silver Spring, Tim, of Stillwater, Minn., and Mike, of River Heights, Utah; a brother; and three grandchildren.
Frank Jablonski is buried at Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Fayette County, Pennsylvania. Dorothy's parents and other family members are buried there.
