OBITUARY: CIBULA NOREEN J. - Age 72, formerly of Pittsburgh's North Side, on Monday, September 18, 2017. Born December 1, 1944, the daughter of the late Henry John, Sr. and Marguerite Cibula. She is survived by her brother, Henry J. Cibula, Jr. (Sue); her niece, Pamela McCrory (Ken); nephews, John (Wendy) and Barry Cibula; also great-nieces and nephews, Marguerite X. McCrory, Grace, Joseph, Ryley and Julia Cibula; as well as her dear friend, Rodney Keefer. Much thanks to the great caregivers at St. Barnabas. Noreen was a graduate of Carlow High School and St. Francis School of Nursing where she was awarded an RN degree. She worked at several hospitals, most recently Sewickley Valley Hospital as an OR nurse where she retired six years ago. Noreen attended church at Assumption in Bellevue and was a regular volunteer for Camp Raising Spirits as well as numerous arts organizations including Quantum Theater, Attack Theater, Pittsburgh Dance Council and The New Hazlett Theater. She loved to attend new movies and Phipps Conservatory. She was a member of the Chaine des Rotisseurs and enjoyed their gourmet dinners. Noreen also enjoyed crafts, cooking, trying new recipes and new restaurants. She mostly enjoyed laughing and talking with her family and her many friends. She will be sorely missed by all who loved her. Arrangements by the BRUSCO - FALVO FUNERAL HOME, INC., Mt. Washington. No Visitations. Burial Private. Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Friday, September 29, 2017, at 10 a.m., at the Church of Risen Lord, 3250 California Avenue, Pgh., PA 15212, followed by a reception.
