OBITUARY: Patricia Casertano (b. April 2, 1939) - Age 84, of Allison Park, formerly of Murrells Inlet, SC, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2023. Beloved wife of 64 years of the late Ronald G. Casertano; loving mother of Michael P. (Karla) Casertano, Ronald (Frances) Casertano, Kathy Casertano and Maria Allshouse; cherished grandmother of Laura Lynn Marie Kilgore, Ronald Joseph Casertano, Jr., Pamela Nicole Amor, Elizabeth Marie (Craig) Budzik, Louis Anthony Allshouse, Frank Michael Casertano, Lauren Louise Casertano, the late Richard Joseph Kilgore and Michael P. Casertano, Jr.; devoted great-grandmother of Carmen Shae Gibbs, Arionna Nevaeh Amor, Daniel Armonie Amor, Adrionna Nicole Amor, Karina Marie Ferretti, Robert John Ferretti, Aveah Nicole Ferretti, Niya Rose Ferretti, and Alania Cassia Allshouse. Pat was a devoted wife, cherished mother, respected nurse, and kind-hearted individual, leaving a legacy of compassion and care. A 1975 graduate of St. Francis Nursing School, Pat dedicated over 30 years of her life to nursing, touching countless lives with her warm and giving heart. Throughout her distinguished career, Pat served in various roles, from Cardiac Care to Home Health. She also dedicated a part of her career to serving the Veterans Administration, providing care and support to those who had served our country. Her commitment to patient care was unparalleled, and she often went beyond the call of duty to ensure the comfort and well-being of those in her care. Pat's passion for nursing was matched only by her love for her family. As a devoted wife and mother, she instilled in her loved ones values of kindness, empathy, and resilience. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her professional life, making her home a haven of love and comfort. Her passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of those who knew her. Pat's memory will be forever cherished, and her legacy of caring, compassion, and service to others, will continue to inspire. She will by deeply missed by her family, friends, and the many lives she touched.
