OBITUARY: Patricia Pfaffle former resident of Huron, Ohio passed away on Friday August 20, 2021. She was one of four daughters born to Nellie and Eugene Buhot of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
After completion of her degrees, Patricia worked as a nurse anesthetist in Cleveland and the western suburbs. She loved her vocation and was an active member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists for 44 years.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Robert Pfaffle. She was a devoted mother to Lee Pfaffle and Stephanie Andres Pfaffle of Chattanooga Tennessee and Drs. Elizabeth Pfaffle and Andrew Yozviak of West Chester, Pennsylvania. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren Megan and Ryan Pfaffle, and Joseph Yozviak.
Her interests included art, traveling, gardening, music, and spending time with her dear friends.
After retiring she volunteered at Stein Hospice and Christ’s Community Meal. She was an active member of Saint Peter Catholic Church in Huron, Ohio as a member of Parish Nurses and as a hospital Eucharistic Minister.
Contributions may be made in her honor to Saint Peter Catholic Church, Huron, Ohio as well as Christ’s Community Meals at First Presbyterian Church 225 Williams Street Huron, Ohio. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Saint Peter Catholic Church.
