Frieda E. Brunner was born on January 25, 1912 to Jerome "Roney" Brunner and Mary E. Steinheiser, who were married in Pittsburgh in 1909. Frieda was probably named after her maternal aunt, Friedaline Arens, who died in 1934.

Frieda married Walter P. Klemovich, a butcher. They are found in Duquesne in the 1940 census with a son, Roney, and a daughter, Rosemarie. The family surname was later changed to Klemens.
Walter Klemens died in 1967.
The second husband of Frieda Brunner was Cecil R. Prince.
Frieda Klemens had a Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania through October 31, 1977.
Frieda died on August 13, 1978 and is buried by her first husband at Resurrection Cemetery, Coraopolis, Allegheny County. Her parents are also interred there.
DAUGHTER'S OBITUARY: Rosemarie C. Macko, 65, of White Oak died yesterday at home. A former personal secretary to the personnel manager of Bethlehem Steel Corp. in Rankin, she was a nursing assistant at Woodhaven Care Center in Monroeville, member of St. Angela Merici Church in White Oak and a former member of the Confraternity of Christian Mothers of St. Robert Bellarmine Church, East McKeesport. - Born in Duquesne, Oct. 30, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Frieda Brunner Klemens. She is survived by her husband, Thomas W. Macko; sons, Dr. Thomas J. Macko of Orefield, Timothy W. Macko of Sanibel Island, Fla., and Terry Macko of Washington, D.C.; daughters, Debbie Contrella of Millersville, Md., and Linda Smiga of Landisville; seven grandchildren; and brother, Roney Klemens of Wilmington, N.C. Friends will be received in Strifflers’ White Oak today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Angela Merici Church by the Very Rev. SON'S OBITUARY: Roney Walter Klemens, 67 of Wilmington, NC, died peacefully in his home on August 2, 2005, in the presence of his family. - Ron was born February 19, 1938, in Pittsburgh, PA. - He graduated from the University of Detroit in 1959. Ron remained in Pittsburgh until 1980, working as a CPA for various companies, and then moved to Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, to finish out his career. Ron retired to Wilmington twelve years ago. He spent his days golfing, fishing, bike riding, traveling, and visiting his family. Ron was very active in both his local church, Church of the Immaculate Conception and the Diocese of Raleigh. Ron was a man dedicated equally to his family, friends and church. - Ron is survived by his wife of forty-five years, Barbara; his four sons, Ron of Pittsburgh, PA, Jerry and wife Sandy of Orlando, Florida, Tom and wife Kim of Rochester Hills, Michigan, and Bob and wife Vickie of Wilmington, NC.
