OBITUARY: Jo Anne Mary Grejda, 78 of Pinehurst passed away on May 17, 2016 at Duke Medical Center in Durham. - She was born on March 11, 1938 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late William and Helen Brehm. Jo Anne started her career in Pittsburgh as a registered nurse. After her move to Pinehurst in 1988 she continued working as a nurse for both FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital and St. Joseph’s Home Health before her retirement. - In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Kimberly Grejda and one sister, Bernadette Brehm. - She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Frederick Joseph Grejda; three children, Frederick Grejda and his wife, Madeline, Amy Oursler and her husband, Carl and David Grejda and his wife, Maria; one brother, Robert Brehm; also survived by eight grandchildren. - A visitation will be held on Monday, May 23, 2016 from 6:00-8:00PM at Boles Funeral Home in Southern Pines. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at 11:00AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pinehurst.
