Olga Botzchea was born November 24, 1919 in Lyndora, Butler County, Pennsylvania. Her parents were Prokop Botzchea and Anna Kot, both born in Poland.

During World War II, Olga served in the Army Nurse Corps from February 10, 1943 to January 23, 1946, attaining the rank of First Lieutenant. When she applied for Veteran Compensation in 1950, her married name was "Stephens" and she still resided in Lyndora, Butler County.

Olga B. Stephens died on June 15, 1986. She is buried at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, Denver, Colorado.
