Clara E. Borres, born in Pennsylvania on September 20, 1895, was the daughter of Joseph and Mathilda "Tillie" Borres, German immigrants (1880s), residents of 5021 Dauphin Street at the time of the 1900 census of Allegheny County, and at 4808 Kincaid in 1920. Her siblings were Frank J., John, Joseph, Sophia, Rosa, Sarah, William P., Anthony, Mary and Clarence.
Clara married Paul C. Marchant in Camden County, North Carolina on May 31, 1925. They were residents of Pittsburgh in 1930, with one child, Mary Jane, born about 1926. They were found in the city Directories of Atlantic City, New Jersey in the later 1930s, as well as the 1940 Federal Census. According to his WWII Registration Card, he worked for Abbotts Dairies.

Paul Christian Marchant, born in Mathews County, Virginia in 1895, died in Atlantic County, New Jersey in January 1968.
Brother, William C. Borres, died December 28, 1990, at which time siblings, Clara Marchant and Clarence Borres survived.
Clara Borres Marchant died on February 17, 1994 in Burlington, New Jersey.
Clara's daughter, Mary Jane, married name Mittelman, became a Registered Nurse. She was in the Cadet Nurse Corps during World War II and graduated from Atlantic City Hospital School of Nursing in 1947. She died in 2002.
