OBITUARY
Caroline A. Wolfe, 77, of Harrisburg, died Saturday, January 18, 2003.
She was a retired Assistant Director of Education and a registered nurse at Holy Spirit Hospital; a U.S. Army Cadet Nursing Corp Veteran of World War II; and an active member of the American Red Cross, where she received the St. George Medallion.
She was a member of St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church; the Church Choir; the Church Leadership Committee of Christian Growth Group; and the Church Coffee Cup.
She was a former Eucharist minister and member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, an Extraordinary Minister Volunteer at Polyclinic Medical Center; and a member of the Alumni of St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing and the University of Pittsburgh. She was a professed secular Franciscan of the St. Thomas More Fraternity and active in the Cursillo Movement.
She was also a member of TRW Pioneers; the Linglestown Womens Club; The Seton Club; the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary; and the Wednesday Club Concert Association.
She was the widow of William H. Wolfe.
Surviving are one daughter, Laura M. Ainsworth of Enid, Oklahoma; one son, William H. Wolfe of Harrisburg; four brothers, Matthew Bonnett of Hawaii, Edward Moan and Robert Moan, both of Pittsburgh, and John Francis Moan of Arizona; two sisters, Lucille Elnyczky and Patricia Schneider, both of Pittsburgh; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, 4000 Derry Street, Harrisburg. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Camp Hill. A viewing will be held from 10-11 a.m. Saturday, at the church, with a Franciscan Service at 10:30.
Arrangements are being handled by the Neill Funeral Home, Paxtang.
