Martha Jane "Jenny" Bildhauser was born 9 Oct 1903 in Coulter, South Versailles Twp., Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. According to census records, her parents, John A. and Martha (Voekel), were German immigrants who came to the U.S. in 1886 and 1881 respectively. Mr. Bildhauser worked as a laborer in a coal mine.

On February 5, 1930, Martha Jane married Herman "Morrell" Lotz in Alpsville, South Versailles Twp., Allegheny County, Pa. Herman died 3 Oct 1956 in McKeesport, Allegheny County.

Martha married Lawrence A. Hoffman. Her death occurred November 9, 1979.
