Mary Margaret Bey, born in Pittsburgh on July 25, 1922, was the daughter of Frank and Anna Marie (Greb) Bey. Her siblings were Dorothy, Dolores, and Gerard.

While a student nurse at St. Francis during World War II, Mary participated in the U. S. Cadet Nursing Corps.

Mary M. Bey is found in the 1950 Pittsburgh City Directory, at which time she was residing in the family home on Carroll Street.

She died on February 2, 1999. Her husband died in 2003.
