Eva Lynne Best was born about 1931-1932 in Pennsylvania to John Vance Best, Jr., a dentist, born in Johnstown, Cambria County, Pennsylvania, and Amelia Frances Carliss. At the time of the 1940 Federal Census, Dr. and Mrs. Best's children were John, 10, and Eva Lynne, 8.

The father died of Infectious Hepatitis in Johnstown on April 24, 1956. He is buried at Grandview Cemetery, Johnstown.

Eva Lynne Best, a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, married George Forest Wright in 1959. He is a Medical Doctor, retired, and they live in Vero Beach, Florida.
