Roberta F. Bartoszewicz Lucas - Formerly of Pgh., age 56, a 29 year resident of Wappingers Falls, NY, on April 20, 2000, of cancer.

Mrs. Lucas was a Registered Nurse for 30 years, working for 11 years at the Community Health Plan, Poughkeepsie NY as a Registered Nurse and a Home Health Care Coordinator; she retired in 1994.

She was a member of Sigma Theta Tau, Nursing Honor Society, MU Epsilon Chapter, Newburgh, NY and St. Francis Hospital Alumni Assoc., Pgh. PA. She graduated St. John Baptist High School, Pgh. PA, St. Francis School of Nursing, Pgh., and received an Associate Degree from the Dutchess Community College NY in 1979; a Bachelor of Science in 1985 from Mt. St. Mary College, Newburgh NY.

She was a member of the St. Nicholas of Myra Church, Yonkers/White Plains, NY. She was married June 11, 1966 in Pgh. to Frank P. Lucas of Wappingers Falls, NY.

Survivors also include her mother, Mary J. Bartoszewicz of Orchard Park, NY; daughter Catherine Mary Lucas of Sommerville, MA; son Edward William Lucas of Cambridge, MA; and five sisters, Barbara J. Lewandowski of Tustin, CA, Patricia A. Klinefelter of Pgh., Anne Marie DeFeo of Alsio Viejo, CA, Christine L. Rudai of Anaheim Hills, CA and Antoinette Hopkins of Orchard Park, NY; also several nieces and nephews; predeceased by her father William J. Bartoszewicz, on June 4, 1998.
